We’re pleased to announce the release of yet another feature requested at Conference 2020 and the second update to Panels since then. If you select the Report option on the Select step of creating a Panel, you’ll now have the option to select from any Awards reports in your event!
After selecting an Awards report, the next step of Panel creation will show a summary of all the settings for the selected Awards report including Bracket depth. There’s also an Edit button in case you want to make any changes.
Complete the panel setup as usual. The Panel will appear similarly to this image:
The current implementation doesn’t include headers yet, but the Award Policy set on the Scoring > Awards tab in CT Live will be reflected.
In conjunction with this enhancement, we’ve also added the ability to display Custom Question answers on the Awards Report. Only one Custom Question can be selected at a time. This field will appear as the third column in a Panel when it is set to display the Awards report.
