Welcome to your ChronoTrack Morning Brief – your weekly snapshot of everything new, fixed, and improved across our products.
Every Thursday, we’ll keep you in the loop with a quick, easy-to-read roundup so you’re always up to date.
New:
PickUp Now Supports External IDs
(Yes, PickUp is sticking around!)
Volunteers now have more ways to pull up an athlete. The existing CT Live QR code scan still works as expected, and we’ve added support for scanning a code tied to an External ID. More options, less friction.
Improved:
Results > Improved Started Communication Before Results Come In
The spectator experience just got cleaner. We now display both the number of starters and the official race clock based on the Universal Wave, giving spectators a more accurate picture of the race as it unfolds.
Fixed:
Results > Improved Reliability for Onsite Results when using Starlink and Similar Networks
We resolved an issue that was causing blocked requests for users on certain internet providers, including Starlink, due to how those networks handle IP address routing. Our server configuration has been updated to better support these connection types, improving reliability across our Results products.
This is just a snapshot of what we’ve been working on.
We’ve trimmed things down to keep this morning’s release notes bite-sized, but there’s a lot more where that came from.
Check out the full release notes HERE, or in your Releases tab in CT Live 2.0.
