Introducing: The Controller Status Dashboard

We are thrilled to announce that the new Controller Status Dashboard is now generally available!

This powerful new tool provides you with live remote visibility into the status of all controllers connected to the CCS, ensuring your equipment is properly configured and deployed on race day.

A New Era of Remote Monitoring

Previously, timers lacked visibility across remote split locations, being limited to the physical proximity of the equipment to verify setup. Prior remote monitoring methods required cumbersome authorization steps where the timer had to manually establish the connection.

Now, the Controller Status Dashboard gives your team an improved check to ensure deployment is flawlessly executed. It provides an automaticlive-updating, and mobile-friendly dashboard that immediately reflects hardware status, connectivity, and point names.

This enables you to confidently catch and correct field errors before the race starts and monitor them during the event.

Key Features & Real-Time Telemetry

The dashboard is built for speed.

Changes made to equipment on the course (like swapping an antenna port or changing a battery) are reflected almost instantaneously.

Live Configuration Tracking: Instantly verify event and point names, antenna connections, and time sync statuses across all controllers using Table or Card views.

Hardware-Specific Telemetry: Get detailed insights tailored to your specific hardware. For our newest product, Kairos, you can view live GPS location tracking and utilize its Bluetooth capabilities to detect the battery statuses of any nearby Ry-POE devices. For AeroTracks, easily verify if the device is actively reading tags via remote trigger-pull status.

Remote Hardware Monitoring & Alerts: Monitor AC power and battery status directly from a mobile device or desktop. Additionally, the dashboard features new built-in alerts that notify you when a controller’s firmware is out of date and provide direct instructions on how to update it.

Live Connectivity & Tag Counts: Track online/offline statuses, latency, and session tag counts to ensure critical timing data is actively streaming – all on one screen.

Getting Started

If your timing organization is properly set up, you will see your controllers listed immediately upon launching the dashboard.

To access the tool, log into CT Live 2.0, click the “My Orgs” dropdown in the top right corner, and select “My Controllers”.

Important Note: Users must have a ChronoTrack Live login to access the dashboard. We highly recommend all controllers be updated to the latest firmware/software versions to ensure full compatibility. Operating equipment on the most recent versions is considered a best practice and is required to report complete telemetry, such as battery and antenna statuses.

We encourage you to review our newly published Knowledge Base articles to familiarize yourself with the interface:
