Paris Marathon Breaks Global Marathon Participation Records!

Exciting news! The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris, held this past weekend on on April 7, 2024, has set a new global record for marathon participation, with over 54,000 runners crossing the finish line.

This year’s event, marked by an impressive turnout, showcased the enduring appeal of one of the world’s most beloved athletic challenges. Despite no new course records, the marathon distinguished itself by sheer volume, featuring a continuous flow of participants, with the last runner embarking on the course three and a half hours after the first start.
